The offensive line looks lost.
It was bad last year, but it was more a talent issue then; we were simply getting beaten to a pulp by better players in the trenches, and we couldn't really do too much about it because of our lack of talent.
This year the group just seems to have no chemistry, albeit the talent is better. It makes sense I suppose given the lack of reps together. You watch that game yesterday, and you see Micah Parsons being untouched several times as he storms to Burrow. Missed things like that all day long.
The line isn't creating much for Mixon to run through either, which is another concern. Last year they seemed to be competent at that for most of the year. It's funny -- I really thought this could be a team that defied a "hangover" but the way they've played these first couple games reminds you of exactly a hangover:
First half -- look completely lost and get smacked
Second half -- look way better and present but still make some gaffes
Burrow looked better yesterday, but he's got a ways to go I think before he is fully healthy and in rhythm too.
Are these issues fixable? I think so, but I'm not gonna lie when I say my confidence is a bit lower. All that said, I do think we smack the Jets
